Abstract:

The author describes from an important material (larvae and adults) A. hamoni n. sp. a new cave-dwelling anopheline found in the Meya-N’Zouari cave (Congo Republic, Brazzaville). The morphological characters and the first ecological observations seem to indicate that the species is really a cave-dwelling one. The associate fauna is listed.
