| Abstract: | The Commission has ruled that the specific name of Pipistrellus nanus (Peters, 1852) for the African Banana bat (family Vespertilionidae) is conserved by giving it precedence over the senior subjective synonym Pipistrellus africanus (Rüppell, 1842). |
