| Abstract: | A preliminary checklist is presented for the mammals of Rwanda based on the literature and our own observations. For several important groups as such bats in Nyungwe or small carnivores, data are certainly incomplete and details of large collections of rodents obtained by W.N. Verheyen and colleagues have yet to he published. Under such circumstances, this paper can not present more than a first provisional list of the mammals of Rwanda. |
