Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to examine certain aspects of the roosting and foraging behavior of Nycteris thebaica under natural conditions. We documented roost selection, vocalizations associated with roosting, and foraging behavior in habitats of different structure. We conducted this study between 3 November and 5 December 1987 in Mana Pools National Park in Zimbabwe.
