Abstract:

Five species of bats are recorded from Kasungu National Park, Malawi: Eidolon helvum (Kerr, 1792); Epomophorus anurus Heuglin, 1864; E. minor Dobson, 1880; Epomops dobsonii (Bocage, 1889); and Scotoecus hindei Thomas, 1901. Some other Malawian records of these species, based on literature and specimens in collections, were included. Epomophorus anurus, Epomops dobsonii and S. hindei are recorded from Malawi for the 1st time.
